Personal settings for timezone, notification preferences, security (2FA), and account management.

Overview​

User preferences are stored on the User model. Dates and times render in the user's configured timezone, notifications respect per-category channel settings, and measurement unit preferences affect how dimensions are displayed.

Key Features​

  • Notification preferences — Per-category toggles for web and email channels, giving users fine-grained control over what they receive and how.
  • Notification sounds — Choose from available notification sounds and adjust volume with a slider.
  • Message email digest — Configure digest frequency for message notifications: immediate, every 15 minutes, every hour, or daily.
  • Login history — View past login sessions showing browser, operating system, and timestamp.
  • Two-factor authentication — Enable 2FA via Jetstream for an additional layer of account security.
  • Account reset — Generate a temporary password if enabled by the organization, useful for onboarding or recovery scenarios.
